The Assembléon AX-Series pick and placement platform comprises three advanced modular models: the AX-301, AX-501, and AX-201. Designed for ultimate flexibility, these fully modular machines ensure a seamless, high-efficiency fit when combined in a complete SMT production line.
High-Speed & High-Precision Models: AX-301 & AX-501
- Scalable Output: Delivers scalable placement rates up to 110,000 components/hour (IPC9850).

- Wide Component Range: Handles everything from ultra-miniature 01005 chips at full speed up to 45mm square components.
- Flexible Feeding Capacity: Equipped with feeder trolleys providing up to 260 x 8mm pick positions, plus tray trolley support for an additional 47 trays.
Odd-Form & Fine-Pitch Specialist: AX-201
The AX platform is fully expandable with the modular AX-201, engineered specifically for odd-form ICs and fine-pitch components, including ceramic BGAs and high-reflection connectors.
- Placement speed up to 11,000 components/hour (IPC9850).
- High-precision placement accuracy of 20µm @ CpK > 1.0.
- Achieves ultra-low defects at single-digit DpM (Defects per Million).
Advanced Insertion & Force Control
Both odd-form and through-hole components—up to 165mm in length and 40mm in height—can be placed with precise programmable force control ranging from 0.9N to 40N for challenging snap-in parts. Comprehensive feeding options include stack tube, radial, bowl feeder, direct die, waffle-pack, GPAX, and custom solutions.
